Choosing the Right Sand
Not all sand is the same — particle size, shape, and cleanliness vary significantly by type and determine what the sand is best suited for. Masonry sand is fine and rounded for mortar and plastering. Concrete sand is coarser and angular for structural mixes. Manufactured sand is mechanically crushed for fill and construction. Specialty sands (stucco, red sand) are formulated for specific trades.

Delivery Requirements & Site Access
Before Your Delivery Arrives
- Gate or entrance wide enough for a dump truck
- Delivery area has stable, dry ground
- Remove parked vehicles and obstructions
- Check for low tree limbs, power lines, carports, and roof overhangs
- Mark the preferred dump location clearly
- Avoid septic systems, drain fields, irrigation lines, and soft ground
- Enough room for the truck to turn around or safely back in
The Delivery Process
- Place order or request quote
- Confirm material, quantity, and delivery address
- Dispatch schedules the correct truck
- Driver confirms safe access on arrival
- Material is dumped in the agreed location when conditions allow
