Material Description

About This Product

2" Washed Limestone is a clean aggregate produced by washing and screening natural limestone rock to remove dust, fines, and smaller particles. The result is a durable, free-draining material that allows water to move efficiently through the stone while maintaining structural stability.

Contractors, developers, landscapers, and property owners frequently utilize 2" Washed Limestone for drainage systems, French drains, septic fields, culvert backfill, erosion control, retaining wall drainage, and decorative landscape applications. Its larger size creates significant void space between stones, making it an excellent choice wherever water management is a priority.

In addition to its drainage performance, 2" Washed Limestone offers a natural appearance that complements residential landscapes, commercial developments, and civil construction projects. The material is commonly used around foundations, utility installations, ponds, and areas requiring improved drainage and long-term durability.

O'Leary Development Group delivers 2" Washed Limestone throughout San Antonio, Cibolo, Schertz, New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne, Bulverde, Spring Branch, and surrounding Central Texas communities. Whether you're installing drainage infrastructure, improving a landscape, or completing a construction project, 2" Washed Limestone provides dependable performance and attractive results.

Material Use

Choosing the Right Road Base

Road base and aggregate materials are rated by gradation — the mix of particle sizes from fines to larger rock. Smaller gradations (Grade 4, Grade 5, #2, 3/4") compact tighter and are ideal for driveways, roads, and base layers. Larger aggregate (57 stone, bull rock, ballast) is used for drainage, septic systems, french drains, and decorative rock work.
