Material Description

About This Product

3/4" Base is a crushed limestone aggregate engineered to provide strength, stability, and long-term performance for a variety of construction and site development applications. The material contains a blend of 3/4-inch stone and limestone fines, allowing it to compact tightly and create a firm, durable surface capable of supporting vehicle traffic and structural loads.

Contractors, developers, property owners, municipalities, and ranch operators commonly use 3/4" Base as a foundation layer beneath driveways, roads, parking lots, building pads, sidewalks, and hardscape installations. Its ability to compact into a dense, stable surface makes it one of the most trusted materials for site preparation and infrastructure projects.

3/4" Base is frequently selected for projects requiring reliable load-bearing capacity, proper drainage, and long-term durability. Whether used as a finished driving surface or as a subgrade beneath asphalt, concrete, or pavers, this material provides exceptional performance and value.

O'Leary Development Group delivers 3/4" Base throughout San Antonio, Cibolo, Schertz, New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne, Bulverde, Spring Branch, and surrounding Central Texas communities. Whether you're building a driveway, preparing a construction site, or installing a roadway, 3/4" Base offers a dependable foundation for your project.

Material Use

Choosing the Right Road Base

Road base and aggregate materials are rated by gradation — the mix of particle sizes from fines to larger rock. Smaller gradations (Grade 4, Grade 5, #2, 3/4") compact tighter and are ideal for driveways, roads, and base layers. Larger aggregate (57 stone, bull rock, ballast) is used for drainage, septic systems, french drains, and decorative rock work.
