About This Product
Grade 5 Limestone is one of the most widely used base materials for construction, roadway, and site development projects throughout Central Texas. Produced from crushed limestone and limestone fines, Grade 5 compacts into a dense, stable surface capable of supporting vehicle traffic, structural loads, and future improvements.
Contractors, developers, municipalities, ranch owners, and property owners rely on Grade 4 Limestone for driveways, roads, parking lots, building pads, equipment yards, and site stabilization projects. The material's balanced gradation allows it to compact efficiently while maintaining durability under demanding conditions.
Grade 5 Limestone is often installed as a finished surface for driveways and ranch roads or used as a base layer beneath asphalt, concrete, and paving systems. Its combination of strength, affordability, and compaction characteristics makes it one of the most popular aggregate materials available.
O'Leary Development Group delivers Grade 5 Limestone throughout San Antonio, Cibolo, Schertz, New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne, Bulverde, Spring Branch, and surrounding Central Texas communities. Whether you're building a driveway, improving access roads, preparing a building pad, or stabilizing a construction site, Grade 4 Limestone provides dependable performance and long-lasting value.
Choosing the Right Road Base
Road base and aggregate materials are rated by gradation — the mix of particle sizes from fines to larger rock. Smaller gradations (Grade 4, Grade 5, #2, 3/4") compact tighter and are ideal for driveways, roads, and base layers. Larger aggregate (57 stone, bull rock, ballast) is used for drainage, septic systems, french drains, and decorative rock work.
