Crushed Granite vs. Decomposed Granite
Crushed granite is mechanically broken into angular fragments. It compacts well but stays more stable than decomposed granite (DG). Crushed granite is ideal for driveways and paths where you want a firmer surface. DG is finer and contains more fines — it compacts almost like a solid surface when wetted and rolled.
