ABOUT THIS MATERIAL

Fill Dirt — Select vs. Common vs. Pond

Fill materials are classified by their compaction characteristics and suitability for specific applications. Select fill meets TxDOT specifications for structural backfill near foundations and utilities. Common fill is general earthwork material for grading and raising elevation. Pond fill is clay-heavy material that compacts to limit water migration — used for pond sealing and berms.
